 We opened on May 5, 1995 under the sponsorship of Samsung Culture Foundation and are the first museum in Korea dedicated to providing innovative cultural experiences to children. We have been creating hands-on displays and educational programs geared towards children's development and have grown into a highly respected space of learning. We are deeply grateful for continuing interests and affection we receive from many children, parents, and teachers. Samsung Children's Museum organizes, under the overarching theme of "Exploration and Expression," more than 100 displays and programs that encourage young visitors to discover what interests them and to participate on their own. In addition, we present our unique monthly educational events to provide a space for cultural experience, in which whole families can enjoy conversations and interactions. Samsung Children's Museum has been constantly growing and reinventing itself in the past decade. We promise that we will continue to serve and nurture children. Through our self-guided learning opportunities, we hope to encourage them to grow into happy children who plan their own futures and learn to be responsible. Furthermore, Samsung Children's Museum, fitting its title as the first museum in Korea dedicated to children, will continue to endeavor in broadly extending and establishing experience-oriented exhibitions and educational culture for children. Our future brightens when children grow happy and healthy. Samsung Children's Museum hopes to play its role in raising the quality of life by providing children, the leaders of future, with a rich and diverse learning environment.
